Spring Art- Sculpture

Lesson: Art and design

Class: Year 4 - Ouse, Foss and Derwent Year: 2019 - 2020

In Spring term, our art focus was sculpture. For this our aim was to create our own Ancient Greek pots from airdry clay. Before we made them we researched, observed and designed Ancient Greek pots. Then we did a skills lesson with the clay looking at how to shape it and how to create patterns. 

After these lessons, we created our own Ancient Greek pot and decorated it with black paint. 

When it was finished we evaluated our work! Look at how super our final pots looked!
