PTA at Winsford High Street
NEW MEMBERS NEEDED!!
A huge thank you to all past and present members of PTA Over the last few years, a dedicated band of parents has worked hard to run competitions, host school discos, organise Easter egg hunts, Christmas parties and dozens of other enjoyable events for the children to both have fun doing and to raise money for the school.
The money has been well spent on additional sports equipment, extra books and projects around the school. It has also been used to reduce the cost of theatre trips and various school trips.
However! As our children grow and move on into secondary education, our body of parent helpers also moves on and we need 'new' parents to help continue the great work and really get involved with life at High Street.
But we thought to ourselves, "Why stop at just the parents?" Grandparents, friends, childminders and the local community would also be a great asset! In fact anyone with a link to High Street is very welcome to come along to PTA meetings, or help out at any of the events we organise.
So why not get involved? Most of our events don't demand much time and are as fun and rewarding for helpers as much as the children!
