Year 4 York

Year 4 Residential to York

Day 1

On the first day, one we went to the Yorkshire Museum to learn more about the Vikings. When we were there, we learnt about different time periods and took part in a Viking workshop. 

Day 2

On the second day, we visited the centre of York using the local buses. First, we explored the National Railway Museum where there were lots of trains to see! After the museum, we split into three to visit the Yorvik museum, Yorvik dig and The Shambles. At the end of a long day, Mr Joule read us a book at the Racecourse centre. 

Day 3

On the last day, we travelled home and said goodbye to York. On the way back home, we visited Eureka. We enjoyed learning about different Science concepts and about real world concepts.
