Remote Learning Provision

At Winsford High Street Community Primary School, we are well equipped to provide high-quality remote learning whenever it is required.

Every child has access to a school-issued tablet. During normal school operations, these devices remain on site; however, if a school closure occurs or a child is unable to attend school for an extended period, tablets can be taken home to ensure learning continues without interruption.

All pupils are provided with individual usernames and passwords to access Microsoft Teams. This platform enables teachers to deliver live lessons, share learning resources and set assignments, allowing children to remain connected with their class and continue their learning remotely.

In addition, pupils have access to a range of online learning platforms that support and reinforce key skills across the curriculum, including:

  • Reading Plus
  • Spelling Shed
  • Times Tables Rock Stars
  • And a variety of other curriculum-based learning resources

These tools help ensure that all children can continue to make progress and engage with their learning, wherever they are.
