Autumn Topic- Raiders and Invaders

Class: Year 4 - Ouse, Foss and Derwent Year: 2019 - 2020

Our Autumn Topic was called 'Raiders and Invaders'. We learnt all about the Anglo-Saxons and the Vikings, investigating what their lives were like and why they are a part of our country's history.

In one of our lessons, we considered why the Vikings had such a bad reputation, using evidence from the past.

In another topic lesson, we investigated the different factors that made the Anglo-Saxons invade Britain. We were given picture clues and worked in teams to figure out the reasons.
